My complaint:
I completed a flight booking form on eDreams website to travel from london to lagos on 19th Oct – 29th Oct direct flight and a quote of £710 with promotion via Virgin was generated and a notification to ring up a number. I rang up the number and I was told that someone would get back to me.
Now this number 02035751433 called me back quoting my flight details. The guy on the call told me that I would need to make a deposit and call Virgin to before paying up the balance, Now I was told to make a deposit payment of £350 and he sent me whatsapp messages via this number 07456434669 (Trip makes on the dp) to this account details Thubs pvt Ltd , account number 94768980 Bank name – Wise Bank ref – VA7190.
Subsequently he said that he can use his staff promo code to get me a discount if I could pay additional 200 into this account details Fly Hubs pvt Ltd account 78717604 sort – 23 08 01 ref Adeniran.
So I made all the payments as per above.
Now up till now I havent received any notification for payment not any e-ticket. He called me to say that the promo was not approved and I would need to make the final balance to make up the original £710, which I then declined and said that I would like to cancel and get a refund of my money.
I feel now that this is a complete scam by someone in eDreams or something. Please how do I get my money back.
