My complaint:
We did our weekly shopping in Dunnes Stores Blanchardstown Center on
Tuesday October 5th where we spent 176.10 euro. On arrival home we discovered that a 2 litre carton of Avonmore milk had a small leak which had made a mess of the other items in the plastic bag containing it which luckily were also dairy products i e yoghurts etc. Despite cleaning up the carton and placing it in the fridge wrapped in a plastic bag and tinfoil and tilted away from the leak it still leaked and made a mess of the fridge and its contents.
This is only one of a number of unsatisfactory shopping experiences over the last number of weeks We had mouldy bread and sour milk within a day or two after purchase despite proper storage. While the most effective remedy would have been to return the defective items that would have cost more than the items were worth.
We are drawing these matters to your attention in a constructive spirit so that any shortcomings at your end can be corrected
