My complaint:
I actually have two complaints to talk about. First, I cannot drive anymore because of health issues so if I want to go to places I take the bus, Uber or walk. I am aware about the COVID rules and that certain places can’t open until there is notices that says they are clear to open. The date is June 6th 2021 and people are doing what they are suppose to do to prevent COVID as a individual, getting vaccinated, wearing masks to cover the face etc.
I live in Rhode Island and I’m right on the border of Massachusetts and right now businesses are open for the public so here is the first complaint, I walked to Dunkin Donuts today and it was closed, well apparently the door was closed for walk-ins only, not only that but the staff cannot even put a sign that says walk ins are closed. The day before was June 5th and the door was open so what happened after that? Was there a emergency or something? Its ok for people that do drive and get service in the drive-thru. On top of that today, its 92 degrees outside with a Air Quality notice warning, so that’s a great time for the store to close the doors, shows how they treat their customers, really classy.
The Dunkin Donuts application doesn’t even sync to the stores half of the time. The store I am complaining about doesn’t sync to the Dunkin Donuts application correctly. The store takes orders on the application but yet the application says the store is only doing drive thru only but again the doors are always open when you do go there, which is it? So one day its open and the next day its closed or is it randomized? Get your stuff together because its annoying.
The second complaint at the same store is if they don’t make enough Cold Brew for the day, they came up with a brilliant strategy, which is if they don’t have enough Cold Brew they mix it with Dark Roast, apparently they think their customers are idiots. Dunkin Donuts might think their customers are idiots and maybe a quarter of the population are idiots but don’t think that everybody is, the customers are not always right but the customers pay for your checks.
Suggested solution:
If the business wants to keep the store closed for walk ins keep it closed, not randomize it to be open or closed when they feel like they want to.
Corporate needs to really fix their Dunkin Donuts application and put more technicians on it until its smooth and operates like a decent application.
The store needs to figure out why they are out of Cold Brew, is it that employees are forgetting to make it the night before the next day? Or is it that they are missing ingredients from the warehouse to make it? If there is no Cold Brew make a sign and put it on the counter at least so you don't have to answer the same question all the time. I mean its like basic business troubleshooting but yet you take the money though.
