My complaint:

I have been going to Dunkin for over 20 years every morning, I get the same thing every morning at different locations over the years. I began coming to this particular Dunkin 763 Hwy 9 Bypass West, Lancaster , SC , for the past 3 days now. Today 12/15/23 I ordered at 11:31am check number 967. For the past 3 days the same cashier has been rude, Yesterday I stood and waited over 3 minutes for my order to be taken, no one would even say welcome to Dunkin, I will be right with you or anything. Finally the one and only African American I have seen working there, came from drive thru and asked if I was waiting on a order . I informed him that no one even taken my order or acknowledged me at all. I asked for the number to give my feedback, the cashier stated she didn’t know the number . Today the same cashier from yesterday and day before noticed me, walked back and forth with a frown avoiding me as I approached the counter. I was in high spirits and said hello to all. She did not smile or give me eye contact at all. When another lady had taken my order, I asked for her to put a little more coffee in my cup as it wasn’t even to the fill line the first time. The rude cashier turned around and said that she talked to her Manager and that they can not do that, she said it in a rude manner and repeated it more than once and walked away. She was very argumentative. I have never had a problem at any other location before when asked for a little more coffee “ as I am a paying customer “. I have been in this field for over 25 years and customer service is most important in the business, no matter the race. This is something that is lacking or maybe only when dealing with colored People’s. I honestly feel that I was treated this way due to my race.

Suggested solution:

I would like to see them do better and put the customer first. When bust just at least acknowledge the customer with a smile and say we will be right with you. Do not argue with customers or treat anyone any differently due to race, ethnicity or any other reason. I have been a General Manager for years and this would be unacceptable in any establishment I lead.
