My complaint:

This is a self-serving change that does not benefit the user nor make it easier. This is totally an attempt to increase monies to Duke Energy at the expense of the user and is most impacting to people on fixed incomes and budgets!!! The change is NEGATIVE for for people on Social Security and on retirement income as our monies are adjusted YEARLY! We can’t ask or even change are amounts on a quarterly or monthly basis!!!!!
Don’t know if someone actually thought this was minimal impact and would be accepted easily by your customers. I believe you’ve made a HUGE mistake! IF you want to save money, you need to fire whomever thought of this without researching the impacts. Want to save money? Stop sending all these information letters and dismiss the organization that actually thought of this proposal. Bad business and self serving!!

Suggested solution:

Make it optional to accomplish yearly, quarterly or monthly by the user and apologize for your self-serving decisions.
