My complaint:
We were parked in a parking lot behind Dominos Pizza in Sawston Cambridgeshire, waiting for my son to return to the car, so my door was open, I was seated in the front passenger side of our vehicle. I saw a man approaching the car next to me so I politely closed my door to allow him access to his drivers door, as I thought he was leaving. It was in fact a dominos employee just coming to sit in his car. He got in his car keeping his door open so I now could not get out of my car. I asked my husband to go round to ask him to close his door so I could get out as we were going to pop into the shop. The mas finished what he was doing in his car and slammed his door walking away. I told him that he was very rude, as i closed my door to give him access to his car, but he could not do the same. Anyway we went to the shop, and my husband went to collect my son whilst I returned to the car. Only to be approached rather aggressively by three grown men. One of whom asked me, What is your reason for shouting at my staff? I explained to him what had happened and just got in my car. Although this is absolutely NOT acceptable. THREE grown men have to aggressively corner a single woman and intimidate her in an isolated parking lot. This parking lot is at the back of some buildings, and there is no view to the public, not that their behaviour would be acceptable in any setting. I want a formal apology from the store manager, or I will make sure that the media is made aware of the tactics they have chosen to intimidate me. This should never be acceptable, but in this day and age, this kind of behaviours can have dire consequences and rightfully so. This kind of behaviour can not be allowed or overlooked, and it is up to the authorities to make sure that this does not happen again, if they chose to gang up and harass me – a single yet grown woman I shudder to think what they would do when they have a young girl alone..
Suggested solution:
I am not sure that people with this mentality should be allowed to have a franchise, but they definitely can not behave like this! I need a formal apology, and I need to be assured that this will not continue with other people.
