My complaint:

My washing machine broke down on the 250123, l phoned Domestic and General expecting to get a repair very quickly, the next available appointment was 7223. I said that l was not going to wait that long, they then put me through to another company call we Repair, l had to call them several times and then they came to repair on the 1223. The machine was blocked with a hair band and 3 coins, this was cleared. 2 washes later on the 3223 the machine broke down again with the same fault. I phoned again and the next available appointment was 10223, they then put me through to another company called Repair Care Centre, there was no answer, l called the next day and a lady called Nichola said that there system was faulty today and she took my number and said she would call me back, l never received a call. I call on the 6223 l managed to get an appointment for the 8223, on the morning of the 8th l ham a text message to cancel my appointment, when l call to complain, they denied sending me a text and said l never had an appointment for that day, they said my appointment was for the 150223.

l would not have accepted this appointment. I then called Domestic and General back who then said l still had an appointment book for the 10223, l then decided to wait for that day. This morning 10223 an engineer called to repair my machine, he found a pair of tweezers in the machine and unblocked it, he also pulled out the drainage hose from the wall and could not put it back in. he has left me still unable to do my washing as he has caused another problem. He also said that they only get 33 minutes per call. I now have to get someone else to fix a problem that the engineer caused. I pay Domestic and General every month for peace of mind that my appliances will be repaired quickly if they broke down. I am not happy with the service l received, being passed to other companies when l pay Domestic and General.
I am looking for some compensation for the stress and inconvenience caused by this company.
