My complaint:
This is the third time I’ve gone into my local $G and failed to see any employee at all. It’s starting to seem as though they open up the store in the morning then leave. I’m well aware that isn’t the case but…it’s ridiculous. I am always thanked but that comes from the voice of the self checkout register. It doesn’t need to thank me, I’m forced to use it. I’m not given a choice. It’s just sad that there is no importance given to employee/customer interaction.
Suggested solution:
Don’t keep your employees so busy stocking, etc that they have no time to assist cut. Keep at least one employee available for the customer. Don’t force people to self checkout.
