My complaint:
I frequent my local Dollar Store at least twice a week sometimes more and I always bring my ESA as my Dr advised… up until today it’s NEVER been an issue but for some reason I had to remove him from the store and since I only had a limited amount of time to shop I could not take him home and come back so as I shopped he was in my truck that I had to leave running in the parking with the a/c on because it’s over 100 degrees outside
Not only was I risking it being stolen but I used gas I had not intended on using today
Now what is the real deal about service animals in your stores? One minute it’s ok the next minute it’s not ok!
Can someone please tell me why this happened and why are the employees only now changing the rules of the store?
Suggested solution:
I want an apology for such horrible treatment and also have the rules per said store I posted so everyone knows the protocol on things of this nature…and if it was just an employee having a bad day and picking on me I expect the person to be held accountable because I don’t have time for games as I spend money in this store.
And if I was allowed I just 2 weeks ago to bring my ESA I side with me why the heck all of a sudden it’s a big deal.. I have a small Yorkie that dies not cause any fuss at all
No barking or bothering anyone at all
Stays right beside me at all times
