My complaint:

I worked for dollar general for 7 years , started as a cashier and got all the way up to store manager up until March of 2023 when I feel as though I was wrongfully terminated. They fired me because it was said that I had a rolltainer blocking the electrical panel in the back room , I never seen a picture or video of proof showing that I did so for one , for two they told me blocking the electrical panel is violation of safety policy and it’s automatic termination , in February before I was fired I had an employee who blocked the electrical panel with a rolltainer I related that too my manager because I came in the next morning and saw it because the night it was done I was off . The employee who did so didn’t get automatically terminated for it the way I did she just got wrote up as well as me getting wrote up and I wasn’t even there when it happened and the employee is still employed with dollar general after I was terminated for the same reason . This is wrong ! This is discrimination, double standard and I was wrongfully terminated . Also within the same store violations of policies are still being done and no accountabilities are being taken for these actions , it is a dollar general policy that family members and people who live in the same household can’t work together and the same store where I was terminated from the store manager and assistant manager are related and live in the same household and the district manager as well as the regional manager are aware of this and no actions are being taken the way they terminated me for so called violating a policy .

Suggested solution:

The complaint should be resolved with me being removed from the no re hire list , as well as the employees who also violated policies should be terminated like I was ! I honestly should resume my position i had before terminated considering I was wrongfully terminated . Or possibly sue dollar general for discrimination .
