My complaint:
I’m so appauled by what witnessed yesterday afternoon in Dowgiac mi dollar general. I watched a woman pretty much assuslt the cashier working the register who by the way was working alone and she was going above and beyond to get the store FULL AND MEAN FULL of customers though the line and on there way.This young lady is always got a smile or a kind word for you makes sure you have everything you need and just all around hard worker. She was running her register and waiting on very disgruntled customer this lady grabbed the cashier and struck her with car keys for not having the yellow shopping bags and using a small trash bag for her Merch the poor was so busy she couldn’t step off the register to go restock bags the lady called her a stupid B and struck her ..I thought it was about turn ugly however the cashier said in an elevated and stern voice exit this store never return and have a good holiday.. everyone in the place was shocked and immediately praised the employee on how tactfully she handled this lunatic as I would have probably knocked her a good one…as result this lady was fired and come to find out she was supposed to be off that day…this Corporation should be ashamed of there selves not only did you fire the best employee in the store you chose your profits over employee safety…there’s now a group of fifteen of us that witnessed this whole thing and spreading the word for the community to BOYCOTT and now will strictly be going the family dollar this is not right and i truly hope this woman takes legal advice because shes gonna have a room full people to testify on what they witnessed ..you should appreciate how hard these ladys work but instead you punish them and let customers assault them

Not firing your employee standing there ground would be resolution and pressing charges on the lady for assault would be great
