My complaint:
We wanted to purchase a Babolat unstrung tennis racket that was listed at $195.00 on the rack. When we went to checkout the racket it rang as $229.00. A difference of $34 or almost 17.5% vs. what was listed. The cashier called someone and over their intercom system was told that $229 was the correct price. We went back to the tennis rack area and took a picture and showed them the price listed there as $195. They told us well what is ringing up is what the price is. In fact, there was no racket listed at $229.
Suggested solution:
Stop misrepresenting prices!! The store is gauging customers by showing something and charging them a different price.
We did not buy the racket. It’s not a matter of $34, it’s a matter of principle that Dicks is misrepresenting their prices.
