My complaint:

I have worked at DHL Highcommon Lane Tickhill for four years now and on Monday of this week I witnessed a complete ignorance of Health and Safety .
A colleague of mine came back from Spain on Friday of last week the 12th of March 2020 .
Spain is a high risk country 2nd to Italy for coronavirus.
My work colleague was advised at the Airport that when he got home he had to self isolate for two weeks which the official line from the government.
When my colleague phoned work on the Monday morning to inform them of what he had been told the answer he got from two managers was he had to come to work, the managers told my colleague that Spain was category 2 and he was fine to be back at work, the information the managers gave my colleague was old information because information on the coronavirus is changing every day.
Spain was in Lockdown on the Saturday the 13th March 2020.
These managers should not of told my colleague to come back to work they should of took the official line from the government.
I myself had to stay at home this week because of their actions, I am 67 years old have under line health conditions and have mental health issues the company and these two managers knew about my conditions but yet this colleague come back to work which is very irresponsible and a bad judgement of error.
The managers are Andrew Parlmer and Andrew Lyons.
Coronavirus is a pandemic and some thing that nobody knows about it just seems as though these managers think it’s a game or something.

Suggested solution:

These managers need to learn more about common sense and retraining of their Health and Safety of others that work around them.
