My complaint:

It’s been five days since the citizens in this area have gone without water. There is a water main break on the corner of W. Grand Blvd and Toledo street. There is an enormous amount of water flowing out of the ground and flooding the area. The city of Detroit Water and Sewage department has done nothing to resolve this issue. Other citizens and myself have called multiple times for the last five days to complain about this issue. We have people with disabilities, illnesses and senior citizens in this area who are suffering the most. And with the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic, this can get fatal. Detroit Water and Sewage department could not give us and estimated time on when they will start to work of this issue. Please if someone can help us in this emergency, the citizens will be thankful.

Suggested solution:

The Detroit Water and Sewage department should fix the water main break immediately and restore our water to preserve life.
