My complaint:

Transaction was 33 weeks ago, November 21, 2022. I used Depop to sell an item. Sale is completed and customer has item. Customer paid via Depop Payments. Depop will not pay out my Depop Balance without providing my state-issued ID, full social security number, and bank details, including both routing and account number. They refuse to provide an alternative payout, despite my verified PayPal account connected to their platform. I am uncomfortable providing an insecure platform that is regularly hacked or has security compromises having everything they need for identity theft. I would just like my $156.12 sent to me via PayPal, physical check, or a verified payment platform that is more secure with personal information.

Suggested solution:

I would like to be paid my $156.12 via PayPal or another method that does NOT require me to provide my full bank account number, full social security number, and my state-issued photo ID, which also has my signature.

Pay me via Paypal which is already connected and verified!
