My complaint:
I have reached out to the Cult Beauty several times now. All orders shipped via the local shipping partner Cheapest and worst service) go missing, The cult has refunded and tried to replace items just to find it goes missing again. I have repeatedly ask that they change the shipping partner which use to be DHL ( fantastic and fast service)now changed to the South African Post office which frankly does not care about any items being shipped or damaged. Soo many south Africans are now not ordering from the Cult anymore as order are all going missing. I asked to pay express shipping but no assistance. So the cult does not care about clients in south africa, their customer service team just apologize and find absolutely no solution to any issues. My question to the Cult beauty team is does your shareholders know that you turning down international sales, opted for the cheapest shipping partner, spends most of the time refunding missing packages and refuse to look into another shipping partner not to mention does not even want to allow clients to pay extra for using DHL etc.. they are clearly wasting shareholder money and running the business to the ground. How many complaints are going around about the cult, i even mentioned it on instagram and no reply. they dont care for sales. i wish the CEO knew how they are throwing away potential revenue. Forcing people to go to sephora or other stores!!!
Suggested solution:
By letting people in SA use express shipping and allowing us to pay extra instead of just letting our orders go missing with the south African post office. they should do a comparison on sales from SA orders and revenue when we used DHL vs when they switched to the south African post office.
im sure they will see loss in revenue and higher cost of replacement and damaged goods fees. The moment the items arrive in SA the tracking is gone with no info and the Cult knows this. Cult is compromising their Brand name and service for cheap shipping rates. long term this is not a strategy
