My complaint:
I received a gift voucher from my friend, voucher purchased on the Cult Beauty website with real money, not tokens or points. The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with other seasonal offers which makes no sense. Any other store would accept gift vouchers as method of payment, but not here, you can only use the gift voucher as a promotional code and you cannot apply any other offers the store has which is unfair.
I messaged them via the message center and the first customer adviser said they can add it as store credit and to send them the code. I sent the code and i get reply from someone else totally unrelated to my question and about some oder. I reply and ask again and someone else replies again with cryptic messages. its been now a week and there is no other way to contact cult beauty customer service and no way to use that useless gift card. I’ve feel i’ve been scammed and i want my friend to get their money back.
Suggested solution:
add gift card as store credit as I was promissed. send me an email or contact number to someone who can actually help me resolve this.
