Cracker Barrel complaint: Worked as server and was treated like a criminal

My complaint:

I worked there from August of 2019 til January of 2020
I am in recovery meaning I go to AA meetings and have 4 years clean. I was treated like complete trash by the managers there. They were ignorant cocky terrible people all 3 of them. They treated everyone there like trash and had a superiority complex acting like they were gods and the workers their slaves. I was constantly abused by them verbally until finally one night during my shift a girl was throwing out some food she made by mistake and I asked if her to give it to me instead of throw it away I’d eat it on my break. So then a manager roy stopped me and said he needs to talk to me, I thought what now and shook my head. He then pulls me to the side with another manager and says I’m to go home end my shift that I stole from them and probably will be fired. I was in complete shock that he was referring to the food I was going to eat that was going to be thrown in the trash. I then tried to charge my phone because I needed to call for a ride it was the middle of winter and I had no way home. He then said I better get the fuck out of there now or he’d call the police. I’ve never felt so humiliated in my life. I still think about it to this day.
