My complaint:
I have been trying to make a larger payment to another wallet for over a week. The issue keeps going in circles. First I’m asked to verify my identity with drivers license and a selfie. That verification gets denied because it is impossible to take a clear picture of the divers license due to a hologram on the document. I then open a case. Then I lose my connection with coin base from my phone and have to reinstall the app and then support sends me an email asking me to redo the photos. When I follow the link it won’t open in the app only in a browser and in the browser the camera doesn’t work. I have to have this resolved immediately. I’m filing this same compliant with the SEC and anywhere else I can. This is completely unacceptable and seemingly a scam to keep funds as long as you can in your unfortunate customer’s accounts.
Suggested solution:
You have to have someone work with me to get my identity verified in some other way if your unable to get the software to take and submit a clear photo or provide better process and instructions to do get the verification done.
