My complaint:
Was recently working at this location that I was told under new management. This new GM (general manager) was putting her employees in very serious dangerous situations. Her name is Victoria Bridgman. I was a new employee with circle K barely properly trained for the position that was given to me. She left me unattended in the store on numerous occasions. When I mentioned my concern with that she shot down my concerns and mentioned it’s “circle k policy” that I will be unattended at times during my shift meanwhile I was only there for two days at this point.. Another situation an employee at her store gave a customer counterfeit money. I reached out to my manager to get her to come down to the store cause we were once again left unattended. She became irate with the police for accusing her staff workers of such a crime. Come to find out the employee was DRINKING on the job the very same employee who gave the counterfeit $50 bill. Once I became aware of this I had requested to no longer work with that employee again.. she did not respect my request and had me work again with the gentleman who produced a very hostile work environment for me. After tensions arose again that employee was let go. A few days later a customer came in to purchase cigarettes and I asked to scan ID as it was part of my job. The customer became irate and started cussing me out and calling me out of my name he then proceeded to throw the box of cigarettes AT ME and throw his money on the counter and attempted to walk out . I informed the customer that I would not be completing this sale due to such abuse we exchanged some foul words the customer and I I will admit he did get the best of me. Ms.Victoria Bridgman then decided to pull me to the said and berate me with RACIST comments stating she doesn’t need “gangsters” on her clock ? And told me to clock out and we would discuss this later. I go home to find out I was fired and my co worker is actually the one who broke the news to me cause Ms.Victoria Bridgman had made a joke out of me stating to everyone “she fired me” when in fact she only told me to go home.
I am writing this today due to the fact of unlawful firing i was with circle k for ONLY 2 weeks and my time there was anything BUT easy . From the abusive coworkers and customers to the manager who NEVER had my back and made RACIST comments and remarks. Someone need to come and check in this store before legal action is taken
HER NAME AGAIN IS VICTORIA BRIDGMAN (480)-299-1278 AND SHE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED FOR HAVING A HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT
