My complaint:
Circle K is one of the most advertised places that offer to load money on your Cash app as one of their services. This one particular store never has anyone working that can offer this service supposedly. At least that is what the same employee has been telling me every time I go in. She says that the manager is the only person that can load cash app services. But every other Circle K that I have been to any employee has been able to do this for me and if the employee was new, they used it as a training purpose to teach that employee how to do something that is part of their job. Also, there have been other employees at this same location that is not a “manager” that has done this for me many times but here recently it’s been the same employee every time I’ve went in and every time it’s the same answer quote I am not allowed to load cash apps“. I don’t know why I left this bother me today, but to me if a store is going to offer a service every employee should be trained how to complete the task. I used to work at a gas station myself and we also loaded Cash app services so I know what it takes to do this. It’s an easy scan the barcode that the customer shows you ask them how much type it in and take their money just like they’re buying a bag of tater chips. Is that freaking simple instead of I’m not allowed if you’re not allowed there has to be a reason you’re not allowed to load Cash app because you’re definitely able considering it’s not that hard.
Suggested solution:
I’m not expecting any change or any special treatment I just want to know the truth if this particular employee is allowed to or if she just doesn’t want to, and if she is not allowed to I would like to know why only managers can do the services if that is the case, they need to have a manager or a shift lead on site during every shift
