My complaint:
This issue/claim with Circle K has been ongoing since March 2023 – My husband and I stopped at a location near our home, on a Saturday to fill up on gas in one of our vehicles. After filling up and restarting our car, we attempted to leave the parking lot when immediately our vehicle started to shut down. We pulled over and were forced to contact AAA for towing service to our mechanic so as not to incur any extensive damages to our vehicle. Once our mechanic made their in depth assessment of what caused the malfunction/shut down of our vehicle, which was clearly bad gas….meaning that the tank that we received our fuel from was heavily tainted with water. We have followed all protocol that Circle K had requested of proof and submitted all incurring charges for reimbursement. Although it is undeniably clear based on the proof provided, even the admittance from the initial customer service associate that we spoke to, Circle K keeps telling us that they reserve the right to deny any claim. This is absolutely irresponsible on their part as Circle K refuses to admit fault. There has to be someone within Circle K that has a conscience to do the right thing in our situation and resolve this ongoing circus we have been put through for reimbursement of damages to our vehicle.
Suggested solution:
Reimbursement of ALL repair charges and fuel as submitted in claim to be refunded due to bad gas. (When you fill your tank up from being empty, and your vehicle prior to putting their gas in was running perfectly fine, that is an obvious that there is a problem with their fuel)
