My complaint:
I am a few Nights away from being a Diamond member in the choice points program. I have stayed at several Hotels in the Choice family and have had generally great service and value. That came to an end last Tuesday the 26th when after I checked in and paid. I was summoned back to the front desk to pay a deposit for $100 but since I already checked in the clerk said we settle for lesser. I paid $75. The next morning I checked out and was told my $75.00 would returned on the same day. Well a few hours later a charge for $75 more dollars was attempted by this Quality Inn but the bank declined this charge as it suspected fraud and this went 3 or 4 more times that day.
I called the Hotel and the Manager said no idea and she had checked me out already, asked the owner to contact me and never did I called Choice and nobody contacted me. So today is 5 days later and the $75 is still pending. The actual Hotel charge has settled and posted on my account. I don’t like these Deposits that the franchise owners use because they keep the money from companies and people just forget about these deposits. Not all people but enough to where all of them are in the Deposit Business. They discriminate on who pays what for a deposit. This particular Hotel has profile identifier that helps the clerk decide what amount would this person forget about and we can keep?
Or some people from several states away and the Hotel keeps the $100 for cigarette smoke or spilled soda?? Who knows. I ask you choice Hotel to take a hard I mean very hard look at your Franchise Owner of Quality Inn South on Harding street in Indianapolis, Indiana 46221 If anything my card that was attempted to be used 4 times for additional funds after checkout would send a red flag? Don’t let these people continue to get away with this.. Any additional information or comments please don’t hesitate to call me

Suggested solution:
Investigate this new owner and his staff. Look at his practices and books!! Also refund my deposit. That’s it
