My complaint:
I took my elderly mother to cheap as chips store in Port Lincoln, SA on the 5 th September 2022. Around 12 noon she tripped on a orange cube thing that staff use to stock shelves. There was no staff in the aisle, therefore said cube step? was a safety hazard for customers. As a result my mum required an ambulance, as she fell heavily on her back and head, splitting her head open. Ambulance took mum to hospital where she under went full body assessment to make sure she had no bleed on the brain or broken hips etc. She required 8 staples to her head and sometime in hospital. As you can imagine all the family was quite stressed , hoping this wasn’t going to end her life. I strongly think the store should undergo occupational and safety measures as a result of this. I don’t know how you can repay my mother for this traumatic incident ,
Suggested solution:
When not in aisle working , remove hazards
