My complaint:
At the end of December at 2:30am, I was notified that a user whom I don’t even know hacked into my account and took $780.00. Per CashApps request I asked the user for a refund and of course it was denied. I never approved this money to be sent to this person and I don’t even know who the person is that took my money. I sent an email to CashApp support in January 11 and have yet to hear back from anyone as to how they are resolving this issue.
Suggested solution:
They should pay me the $780.00 that was taken from me. I’m hesitant to use this app going forward as now I’m unsure how safe this app really is.
