My complaint:
Money was accidentally sent to an acquaintance through the app. This acquaintance acknowledged that he had received the money. It was obviously a mistake and then he denied actually seeing it in his account. I asked multiple times for this person to return the money and my requests were ignored. I contacted cash app customer service on several occasions and told them about the situation and that this money was stolen.They treated me poorly and were of absolutely no help. It was only $45 but that’s not the point. I can only imagine if this is happening to me how many other people have been stolen from.
Suggested solution:
They should return the $45 that was stolen from me.
