My complaint:
I have Been using Cashapp for some time now. Just recently, while i was out of town, I transferred my unemployment money from my bank to cash app because i couldn’t find my bank card. After about of week of having money in my account, i try to go and use my cashapp and my account is randomly closed. I try to contact support and all they tellbme is that I violated their TOS and they have the right to reserve and hold my funds. It’s been a week now and I’ve tried to get in touch with their customer service to try understand why my account closed and why can’t transfer they money from my account. Most of all, i want to know what caused them to close my account because i don’t understand how a $28 transaction at Ross or a 27 dollar Lyft ride could set cashapp off to thinking I’m trying to commit fraud in my own account. Nobody will answer me, There is no phone number to contact a real person. I have 355 dollars just sitting in cashapp with no way to retrieve. I really need help in this situation.
Suggested solution:
I really need the funds i deposited to my cashapp. I want to be able to cash out to one of my debit cards or at least be able to make one p2p transfer so i can have my money off that account if it’s closed.
