My complaint:

I attempted to purchase a Nintendo Switch bundle I found on Facebook marketplace. Being someone who has sold online for years, it’s not uncommon to require proof of payment before sending tracking information. The seller asked for her money, said she’d provide tracking, and then blocked me as soon as I sent her $200. Being that I live in Alabama and the seller lives in Kentucky, it’s a felony theft, because it crossed state lines. Cash App told me that because I sent the money from a device I’ve used before, it was an authorized transfer and they couldn’t do anything, but I could request my money back from the recipient. A police report is in the works, because it’s a felony, and I’ll be contacting a lawyer to see what can be done about Cash App aiding and abetting the seller with her scams.

Suggested solution:

Refund my $200.
