My complaint:
I received my vehicle on 10/14… To this date – 11/27 i have not been able to register my vehicle in my state and have been reaching out to carvana for 6 weeks as i am not able to legally drive my car, Carvana has told me for 3 weeks there was no problem with my paperwork and further stated my state DMV was wrong. After 3 weeks of calling back to back, carvana realized they have provided the wrong address on all of my signed documents and contracts.
Carvana has now stated for 2 weeks they are going to fix the issue and they have not. I have not been able to drive my car for 6 weeks,. Carvana also told me to purchase a rental car and to send the receipts in for a re-imbursement to which they are now stating they are not going to do that. They continue to tell me to wait as I wasn’t able to spend the holiday with my family due to me not having a car. This is beyond ridiculous to make a monthly payment on a car I can not even drive.
I was also told I could not return my car during my 7 day issue due to a open ticket for the 2nd time they tried to fix my paperwork. I also asked could I have a extension of my 7 day which they also stated i could not get. Carvana owes me my down payment and my first month car payment that has been paid as well as my rental vehicle that i obtained due to carvana agent telling me to do so on a recorded line. All I want to due to return the car due to carvana continuous screw up of everything, However, I am told week after week to wait and hold on and they would fix it. It has been 6 WEEKS and I am tired of waiting.
Carvana told me they would not allow me to return the car even they I was denied my warranty right on a recoded line during my 7 day time frame. They have insisted they will alter my signed contracts meaning my affidavit, bill of sale, limited power of attorney and everything I have also signed and provided a signature on. I advised them to do that would be fraud but they have stated they could Atler and changed legal signed documents. I have advised carvana to send me a email telling me they have the legal right to alter and changed a legal signed document and they have refused to do so. I need help and don’t know what to do as every day they tell me to wait and they will call back and do not call me bac, I was not able to spend thanksgiving with my family due to this ongoing issue while carvana was off from work enjoying there time.
This has caused so many problems for me mentally because I am trapped payment for nothing I can not use and have no way of going to live my life and carvana does not care. They truly do not care if I die in my home and not be able to go to the hospital my deny me my right to send the car back to them so I can move on with my life. I really am scared something will happen to my health and I will be stuck without a way to get to the hospital.
Suggested solution:
I want to return the car and be done with carvana.
