My complaint:
My truck ran hot and caused oil to mix in the coolant jug . Took my truck to Earl Tindol. they told Carshield the problem and the fix, which was to replace the engine ..Car shield disputed with the repair facility, and order them to change the oil cooler and flush the engine and radiator. they did . The facility requested several flashes of the engine but. Carshield would only pay for one flush and the oil cooler .
I ended up having to pay over $250. got my truck back in about a month drove it off the lot and the vehicle ran hot, the repair facility told Carshield that would not fix the problem. Earl Tindol refuse to work with Carshield after multiple denials about the expert opinion, and fixing the vehicle.. so I took my truck to Keith, Hawthorne who came up with the same diagnosis. Long story short. My truck has been in the shop for over 4months, and Carshield refuses to pay, denying that the oil cooler failure caused engine failure saying that my engine was not covered under my plan, . Even though my plan clearly says engine, why won’t you pay for my repairs my wife and three kids also have Carshield and none of us have ever filed a complaint or a claim, and now that we have, they refuse to honor their contract. deceptive ,very hard to work with very hard to get a a repair paid for and does not want to honor their contract . I pay every month and even now they’re taking payments out every month Carshield please be the company that you advertise that you are and repair my vehicle… they have put me and the repair facility through all kinds of hoops they required the engine be tore down step-by-step to point of failure We have followed every thing they told us to do now they denied the claim I’m left with a tore down engine and holding the bag to pay the repair facility for what they done even though the engine is not fixed. very unsatisfied customer!
Suggested solution:
Pay to have my vehicle repaired.
If you don’t trust the food company, put the truck in your shop I don’t care just need my vehicle fixed
Help me get back on the road.
