My complaint:

Account was open online with CapitalOne bank on 2623.I created request for adding the beneficiary to my CD account. Form was notarized and fax to the fax number that was provided on the form. I just wanted to make sure they received my instructions and after more than 30 minutes on holds representative informed me that i have to wait for 10 days for them to process my request. That is leaving my account not protected.! After 10 days i checked my account and still no beneficiary listed. I had to call again and again after 37 minutes very rude and unprofessional representative told me that my request was denied because I DID NOT INDICATE BENEFISIARY ADDRESS. I asked to speak to manager, and she placed me on 28 minutes hold and then disconnected me. I had to resubmit another notarized beneficiary form and my account is still not protected. Capital one bank is terrible and not providing customers service.

Suggested solution:

add a beneficiary to my account immediately
