My complaint:
On Saturday I get to work and notice a large puddle outside the back entrance to get in. Later on when I take the bins down I notice it’s dark yellow and the smells of chip fatgrease. I slipped several times and had oil all over my shoes at this point, so I return to tell our manager Prasha about it. She is aware of it and claims she knows how it happened and says she’ll sort it. 2 days later i get to work and the rain has now spread the oil all over the rest of the stairs and nothing has been done. Prasha hasn’t bothered to deal with an extreme health hazard even though she is aware of it and that’s not acceptable.
Suggested solution:
Get the oil spill cleared, inform the company that take the oil and find a way to minimise the hazard in the mean time. She should take responsibility for the issue and not neglect her duty as manager, a person who i believe should be able to deal with such a thing.
Don’t say you’ll do something and not do it.
