My complaint:
I am writing to complain about the absolutely infuriating adverts currently running for your King Box Double Melt deal. The tagline ‘You owe us, big time’ is utterly disrespectful to your customers. Is our money not enough for you? If you think it should be priced higher, do so! If customers agree they will pay the higher rate. Or if the main point of the offer is the good price point, leave it there. Especially in the current climate of austerity a truly good value-for-money offer is only good business sense, not a favour. There is precious little reason to go out and get take-away as it is, so your adverts should work to coax people to your doors, not make them think they are running a tab.
Suggested solution:
Stop airing the advert, and go back to your more respectful slogan of 'Have it your way' - and no more of this ridiculous notion that we're indebted to you beyond the purchase.
