Braums complaint: Dirty!!

My complaint:

We frequent this Braums as it is in our neighborhood. We usually use the drive through but today the line was very long, so I went inside to get our drinks. I was appalled at the lack of cleanliness over the whole food prep area. I saw one lady step in spilled ice cream, and she used a wipe rag to clean her shoe. She then put the dirty rag back on the counter where another lady used it to clean a food prep counter. I called her attention to the facts about the rag, and she apologized. She acted like a more senior team member and was quite nice. But no one cleaned the dirty floor or counters In their defense they were all super busy, had been so for hours, but we will not go there again. The young lady that cleaned her shoe, and the rest of the obviously young and inexperienced crew were working hard, filling orders, but not paying attention to cleaning at all. I see this as a management problem. If you hire young, inexperienced and unmotivated people (probably a necessity due to labor costs) they need to be trained and supervised closely until they learn how to handle themselves. And maybe hire someone whose job it is to primarily clean. It is a messy business by its nature, but cleanliness is a prime consideration.

Suggested solution:

Manage inexperienced personnel more closely.
