Booking.com complaint: Poor customer service

My complaint:

The nature of this complaint is not high level. Simply I could not change the currency for flights using a laptop within the booking.com app. Settings are easy to find on a mobile but not on a laptop. However after changing the currency to NZD flights still came up with Hungarian forints. Chaeking again shows the currency still as NZD. What is most frustrating is that booking.com do not provide a help to deal with such issues. In searching for ‘complaints to booking.com’ a website called ‘Howly’ appeared which seems to be some complaint agency – this is most annoying. I intend to change from booking.com because of their lack of customer service and communication blocks they have put in place. There are few ways open to me to get this resolved and I do not want to go to ‘The Complaining Cow’ – I want proper help and customer service.

Suggested solution:

Two things:
1 Provide a help service that deals with such issues directly from the company and not out-sourced. And remove the loop that continually returns you to 'want help on something else' This is similar to scam sites.
2 Provide a way to set the currency that actually works
