Booking.com complaint: No response to fraud via messenger

My complaint:

Fraudulent individuals hacked the account of the hotel I booked on Booking.com and asked for credit card details to my booking. It was a fishing fraud and they stole around 6000 EUR from my account. As soon as I realised something was wrong I phoned Booking.com and was sent an email asking for details of the case that I completed and returned. This was on 15 August 2023.

On 17 August I sent another email to say that I believed that it was fraud and to follow up. On 15 September I again emailed Booking.com about this case as I had still not received any reply. On 12 October I again emailed them with the police case and details of the hotel indicating that their Booking.com account was hacked.

To this day (3 November 2023) I have still not received any response from Booking.com regarding the money that was stolen from me through a vendor’s hacked Booking.com account.

Suggested solution:

I expect a response and refund of money stolen through a hacked Booking.com account.

The booking.com site was hacked ! I got an email with all my booking details and dates and confirmation number, telling me I needed to update my credit card on file in 12 hours or my booking would be cancelled! My US card did not go through , so I called the hotel directly and told them NOT to cancel. I was simply told there was a problem with the extranet .
