Booking.com complaint: Failure to inform flight change

My complaint:

My flight was booked on Oct 7, 2023 12:45 pm, Aeroitalia. The last notification email from booking.com came on Oct 5th, 2023. I made arrangements to be at Fiumicino on time to check in at 10am. I found out that the flight left at 9am. I had to book hotel over night, new ticket and transportation since the next Aeroitalia flight was in 3 days. Booking.com customer service that I contacted at 11 and 12 am did not know about the change of flight. Booking.com says they sent me an email on Oct 2nd which I did not open until Oct 7th at 12:31!!! They completely ignore the Oct 5th email and refuse to pay me back what I spent due to their mistakes.
