My complaint:
I Reserved a car in Las Vegas for March 6-March 10 for $345.83 on Jan 17, 2022. Trip 497-733-813-45. When tried to pick it up they told me I had to have a foreign driver’s license and a foreign passport to get that rate. They offered to rent me one for around $700. I refused that offer, but what do you do, walk? It was required that I had to have personal transportation around Las Vegas for this trip. So, I rented one from Budget for $600.25.
The next day I called Priceline to find out how this happened and what could be done about it. I talked to Nash. She wouldn’t answer any of my question but would replay that I wouldn’t be charged for the car as answer to every question.
I still don’t know how this happened or if it is Avis’s fault or Priceline’s fault, but in my mind, somebody owes me $254.42. Meantime I will not use Priceline or Avis again. It sure feels like a scam.
Suggested solution:
Refund $254.42. and explain how this happened.
