My complaint:
I rented a car for four days at the Budget Rental at Whangarei airport after getting a quote of $345NZ. After returning the vehicle my credit car was charged $1845NZ. After weeks on unsuccessful attempts to get an invoice or an explanation with unanswered phone calls and emails I eventually contacted the manager attheir Tauranga branch. She acknowledged the over charge and contacted on my behalf the manager at Whangarei airport. He too acknowledged the overcharge and promised a refund. That was over a week ago.
Shocking unacceptable incompetent customer service. I started this frustrating attempt to get a refund over a month ago. Reputable businesses process a refund immediately. Not this business. It’s been weeks and still no refund.
Suggested solution:
Give me the refund I’m entitled too.
