My complaint:
Like many others, I became an unfortunate target of Budget’s ‘smoke dirt’ scam. I rented a car for just half a day and returned it in pristine condition—so much so that I even wiped down parts of the interior before driving. I’ve never smoked in my entire life. When I dropped off the car, the Budget employee ed that everything was fine. However, days later, I received a letter from the notorious Nora Henry claiming that ‘smoke dirt’ was found in the car. After researching, I discovered that this scam is rampant, with countless similar complaints online. It seems this deceitful tactic is widespread among Budget franchisees across the country, and nothing has been done to stop it.

They customer service resolved the complaint after a call.
