My complaint:
I rented a car through Expedia from Payless car rental that I picked up at LAX on February 15 and returned on February 19 of this year.
When I arrived at LAX the night of the 15th there were about 60 people in line at the rental company and 2 employees. It was awful and we all waited for hours. It felt like an apocalypse. By the time I got into the rental car, I was exhausted and needed to leave.
I noticed that the car was all wet inside and had clearly not been cleaned. There was tons of long pet hair and dirt on the floors.
As there were hardly any employees and it was past midnight I decided not to complain and left.
Now, I receive an invoice from a supposed Nora Henry that says I am being charged $450.00 for someone ELSE’S pet hair and mess due to PAYLESS’ lack of cleaning and employees. I have no pets.
I replied explaining just this with no reply.
I then submitted an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and got a response from a Pedro insisting that I provide photographic evidence in order to dispute the charge. I most certainly did not think to take pictures of dog hair in the back seat. I was rushed and busy, on a quick visit.
Today I will submit official complaint applications to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (cfpb) and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as well.
FYI, a class action lawsuit is already in place due to the suspicious activity from Nora Henry via this company.

This is appalling and untrustworthy customer service. I will never patronize this company again and will create a smear campaign against them.
Suggested solution:
Please stop this company from getting business and get me my refund!
