My complaint:

I purchased an Acer Chromebook spin 713 and accidentally spilled water on it. I called then and was told that wasn’t covered. I read to them whet their policy stated and accidental water spill was on there. I was placed on hold for 30 minutes and the lady came back and told me her supervisor approved it and an email would be sent to me and to follow the instruction. I received the email and I filled out the form explaining exactly what I had before. Three days later I received an email reading “we can’t approve your claim”. Why are they offering coverage that they will not cover. This is truly a scam.

Suggested solution:

They should have offered me the option to send it back and allow me to purchase another one.
