My complaint:
I had a trip to the Philippines planned for June 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, all travel to the Philippines was cancelled because the islands shut down travel. After months of speaking with ASAP they finally informed me that I would have to pay $714 in order to get a refund of $1,428. But I am still losing $714 from the original flight and then risking another $714 hoping to get the $1,428 refund that is not stated anywhere in the paperwork. I shouldn’t have to pay more money or schedule another flight in order to get a refund.
Suggested solution:
I am asking for a full refund for my original flight.
