My complaint:

Choose Arbys for lunch, I live about 30 miles away and was in town for a doctors appointment, I have a birthday coupon I used. The person with name tag Henrietta was working register with another female black employee. They questioned the coupon I received and proceeded to take my phone and search it. I do not like public confrontations as the reason I am writing this complaint. As a general manager she should of known better than to talk down about my coupon to me, she should have never touched my phone with COVID and she was not polite at all. She used and abused her authority. And I am a older black woman, I felt disrespected and discriminated by her because of my age, race and status. She acted as if my coupon was fraudulant on my part as she searched by phone and she stated they use these over and over. I don’t know how much stock she has in Arbys but her projection of me was very incorrect, rude, disrespectful and I can go on…….. I will not be returning to Arbys.

Suggested solution:

I understand viewing a coupon but to question it and to make NEGATIVE comments about it should be taken up with the district offices. Don't prejudge customers. If you the General manager be more professional! I saw no disrespect toward others. Also I was not greeted when I entered the business. The drive thru was closed and that was a inconvenience with myself being disabled and had to park and come inside. The side door was also locked.
