Complaint: Warehouse cannot locate my return

My complaint:

I returned a MacBook to apple. The tracking info shows it was delivered to the apple return warehouse. It has been over a week and now they tell me they are unable to refund my $2000.00 because they cannot find my return. Their customer service is horrible. They admit they received the return but say they need to do an investigation that could take weeks before they can refund my $2000.00. Unacceptable in my world. Any good customer oriented company that admits they received the return, would in the interest of good customer handling go ahead and refund the consumer.
