My complaint:

I ordered a new Dell XPS 13 (9310) Touch Screen Laptop computer order 113-7278314-5411466 from Amazon on May 11, 2021. The package I received from Amazon contained a Dell XPS 13 (9310) Touch Screen faulty computer which Dell informed me was not the computer I ordered and the computer I received had previously been sent on March 16, 2021 to a Jason Wilson. The computer I received was registered to a Jason Wilson and I could not get warranty for it. I requested a refund from Amazon for the computer I ordered but did not receive. I returned the computer to Amazon which I had received, which they discarded. Shortly after Amazon received the returned computer I received from Amazon the following message. “Your return for the order 113-7278314-5411466 contained the incorrect item instead of the original Dell XPS 13 (9310), 13.4- inch FHD Touch Laptop. We cannot issue a refund for this order until we receive the correct item. Please return the correct item to us by if you would like a refund. “. I send numerous e-mails to Amazon indicating to the them I did receive the computer I ordered therefore how could I send it back to them. Their replies were always “We cannot issue a refund for this order until we receive the correct item.” Lately I received an e-mail from an Amazon Account Specialist indicating they need to look into the problem with 113-7278314-5411466 return, and it will take a bit more time than usual. He stated that they will write back in a week with more information. I did not receive any information. Amazon has stopped replying to my e-mails to them. I provided evidence to Amazon the package I received from Amazon contained not the computer I ordered but the package was supposed to contain the computer I ordered.

Therefore no refund, no computer.

My Amazon complaint seems identical to complaint filed to you a couple days ago by a person ordering a graphic card from Amazon. Amazon sends you the wrong item and then will only give you a refund if you return the item you have not received. How is that possible?

Suggested solution:

Refund of $1857.95 to my your credit card and $71.00 for the return shipping fee that I paid.
