My complaint:
On May 17, 2022, I arrived 3 hours early to check in to my flight: Booking Reference 22FVLX, ticket 0147661109151. Star Alliance (United Airlines) Mileage Plus KCM56841. Told that original ticket had been reissued in the name of my husband Bruce Kesselman (who had another ticket 014766109149) resulting in 2 tickets in his name and none in mine.
Requested that the second ticket be changed to my name and Air Canada refused to do this. As a result I had to rebook my entire itinerary and pay for new tickets (some of which were are ANOTHER airline NOT with my husband) at a cost of $4484.46 original ticket $818.95 $5303.41.
Suggested solution:
I would like a refund of $5303.41 for making me buy new tickets and not honoring my original ed paid tickets, plus 2 round trip tickets on Air Canada good for international travel anytime in the next 4 years.
I have documentation to send you of original ed prepaid tickets, new tickets at full fair, plus itineraries showing different flights not with my husband.
