My complaint:
About 7am on Feb. 16 my electricity went off. About an hour later it came back on but my central heat unit would not operate properly. Called technician to look at it. The reason it would not work was the blower fan was locked up. Replaced it and unit still would not operate. Further investigation showed the gas valve wasn’t opening. After replacing valve system worked fine. Technician said electrical surge could have been the reason if my unit was running when the electric was cut. My heating unit was working properly before. Contacted AEP representative and was told it was a rolling blackout. Total repair cost $478.21.
Suggested solution:
Refund my repair cost.
