My complaint:
It should be against the law for a utility with a monopoly to impose a rate increase as AEP has implemented. I do not know how people can survive this way. We keep our heat low, were away for almost 2 weeks and our bill went up $100 last month andanother$130 this month. We had no Christmas lights, and cooked no Thanksgiving or Christmas meals, yet we still had the increases. With everything else increasing like gas and food, basic necessities to work and live, I just don’t
understand how you expect people to survive.
Suggested solution:
Listen to the consumers and reduce rates.
