My complaint:
I had service with Ackerman not with ADT. My service with ADT was paid in full. I canceled my service and did not sign another agreement with ADT. I was receiving calls and mail from ADT for cancellation charges! Now they have turned this account over to collections and I am being bothered. ADT is trying to get around $200 for a cancellation! I did not have service with ADT , I had service with Ackerman! I will never choose to or recommend ADT. Several people in my neighborhood are having issues with ADT! This goes to show ADT has less than stellar business practices!
Suggested solution:
Leave me alone and eliminate the cancellation fee.
